How much were the roses you bought yesterday?

$0. Valentine' Day is just more Hallmark BS. Took my wife to a nice lunch and thanked her (again) for being such a great mate and mother.

I won't pay more than 15-20 bucks for dozen roses. Local place always has them for around 10 or so (not sure about valentines day).

I got my wife flowers few days before Valentines (as an early present). Not roses though.

I go to Whole Foods every year (only time I'll go to that hipster place). $19.99 for TWO dozen roses. You pick out which ones you want (all of the roses are really nice, not crap flowers), then they wrap them up all pretty like for you, free of charge.

Drove to my gf's work, hand delivered them. All her coworkers are like, "OMG, my bf just orders online with a CC. He doesn't deliver them in person!". Everyone thinks I'm the greatest, when in reality I'm being a cheap ass.

Money I saved, I use to buy a couple of filet's and lobster tails. Grill them up last night, got my freak on, went to bed. Happy V Day to me.

This year I sent chocolate covered strawberries. The company messed up the name on the delivery so when they got there, no one knew who they were for. They called the company and instead of the company calling the phone number on the order I placed, told the person calling just to enjoy them. My wife wasn't even in the office at the time and didn't get any.
They are supposedly refunding all my money. $90.

But seriously, the last thing she wants is flowers. Right now she really wants a nice pool table for our basement (which is good because so do I).

WTF, man?! I'd be pissed. They owe you a little more than just your money back. They should have issued a full refund AND sent her another order.
