I'm lucky to drink 20oz of water a day. I usually drink about 3-5 glasses of gatorade/koolaid/tea a day with an occasional soda. A lot of your water intake comes from food you eat as well.

For the people that drink a gallon of water a day, how do you stay out of the urinal?

Probably around 2 nalgene bottles a day, unless I'm out at a restaurant. For some reason with the constant refilling of glasses I always end up drinking tons & tons of water when I'm out to eat.

This seems like a red-flag for some type of kidney/diabetes problem.

Seriously [serious business] I'd go see a doctor [/serious business].

That recommendation is for an average person. If you are working out daily, regularly active, or if it is particularly hot out you need to up those amounts.

This thread upsets me because I came back home for the week and there's no in-fridge water dispenser nor is there any bottled water left. :(

I always have a full cup of water on my desk. (I sit literally 10 feet from our water cooler in my office.)

That's basically me

I take in about a gallon a day. If I don't I tend to get fatigued a little faster at ultimate. I can understand a cup of joe in the morning, but what the hell is up with people drinking diet coke at 10am? I can barely stand pop at all (I need to have a coke while eating pizza!) so drinking anything other than water just to keep hydrated druing the day is weird.

The guys in my office live on soda. Soda and coffee. Should do their bodies a favor and switch to water. Oh well~

Its pretty gross. People can lose 10lbs if they just stop drinking sodas. How hard is that? I don't get it.
