When working at the warehouse during the summer (it could be warmer than body temperature in that place), I'd probably drink a total of 48 ounces, way more than I'd usually drink. On a regular day that doesn't include much activity, I'm down to less than a quart of liquid a day, probably no more than 30oz.
I don't like to drink much with meals, because I feel really full then, which I find to be quite uncomfortable. Drinking can also be a meal substitute. A glass of chocolate milk is a suitable meal for me. I'm already on about 1500 calories a day, so plain water would just occupy volume without adding calories, and I don't think it'd do me any good to cut back on calories.
It's not on a diet or anything, either, it's just what I eat. I don't get hungry often, and usually will eat simply based on what time it is.
If we're talking about drinking plain water, I probably drink less than 2oz of it a day, when I brush my teeth.
