To get me? Lawyer fees for a prenup and cost of license or court fees.

My brother spent 20k on his ceremony in Canada. I spent about 15k in the us but that was for the "ceremony," rings, honeymoon and immigration work (greencard) for my wife.
 
I spent around $3k. There is no need to go big. You'll save a lot by going to a restaurant instead of having an over priced reception.

Father stops and thinks for a minute or two and says -- Son, I don`t know. I am still paying for it.
 
I spent 25k. A bit sad about spending the money, but for my wife's family (Chinese) we has to do the whole banquet and invite all the relatives. Thankfully her family was extremely generous and helped us out a lot. We ended up almost breaking even on the whole thing.

Go to Vegas, get the special, then spend the rest of the cash at the craps table. Half of all marriages end up in divorce anyway so might as well do something you enjoy. 😀
