Currently...8:30-8:45

I leave home about 8:40 for a 9:00 start, work till 5 or so...get home within 15 minutes.

In days long gone, I'd leave the house about 3:30 am and would usually get home between 8:00 and 9:00 pm every evening.

well i'm a shift worker, but it's pretty reliable 9 hours total. my shifts are 8 hours 20 minutes, allow 15 minutes each way commute. so a bit less than 9. guess i got it pretty good.

Alrighty so let's see how long it takes to walk back to my quarters. 2-3 minutes tops? No commuting! No gas fumes! No cursing drivers! No slobs picking their noses and tossing their boogers on other people's windscreens! No scraping the dead bugs and bat carcasses from the grille! No waiting in line at the gas pump. No car payment! No insurance payment! No taxes! No grocery shopping! No getting stiffed by shade tree mechanics! No worrying about sidewall failures.

But there are NEFs along the way to ATOT. :p

About 8-9 hours, depends if I go to the gym after work or not. I usually go home for lunch but that does not really count, or does it?

I work from home so my work time is however long I feel like working on any given day(s), and can range from 0 hours to 30+.

Am I the only one who does not work the same amount every day? For me, it varies between 7 and 10 hours. I have ~10 minutes of bike riding from my work to home.

Nope, same here including the biking (but I'm more like 12, or 14 if I'm not pushing it).

It can range from not leaving home at all for work, to 1-2 hours, to 14+ hours. I'm a field service engineer so it all depends on the problem I get called out to fix.

working from home for too many years to count (literally I forget)... while there is freedom there's also the work that I just feel like doing at 7pm sometimes. I start 7-730am most days after I drop my wife off.

Though I come home for lunch sometimes, I didn't factor that in. This is because I have to leave at an unexpected moment's notice when I do come home, and also I don't always go home for lunch.... With that said, 12+ hours.

About to take a job in the Twin Cities and will be staying at my parents' house until we can get our house sold so my family can move up there with me.

One way to work from their house is 45 miles and I expect it'll take around 1 hour and 15 minutes during rush hour traffic.

Means I'll leave for work at 6:40am and won't get home until 6:30 or so.

I am about the same.

Hop in the car by 7:45, at my desk at 8.
Hop in the car by 4:05, at home at 4:30.

Much less traffic on my commute in the morning. I love my schedule.
