And college grads get manager jobs at mcdonalds, not the normal crappy jobs..... they have a degree so people know they can be responsible or something.

Finance is the money major in business. Finance majors can expect $40,000-$60,000 per year in the private sector with only a BSBA. Other business majors (excepting Accounting, which essentially has parity with Finance) tend to be in the $30,000-$40,000 range.

I hate to say it, because I know that there are a lot of people who are interested in Marketing and who go into Marketing because they love it, but there are also a lot of people in Marketing who are only there because they didn't want to put the effort into Finance or Accounting. Because of them, there is a glut of Marketing majors so your job pool is a little over-full of applicants.

This is all, however, based upon the forecasts I have seen while looking at the same situation from the same perspective.

Anyone have any idea what I'd be looking at with a BAPR (Bachelor Public Relations?) I've got 3 or 4 semesters left and will probably have a 3.5ish GPA from a public university.

Fsck managing. If you're great with people, sell! Of course you'll be unhappy to see that you didn't even need that BSBA degree in order to make 6 figures, and there will always be more talented sales people who didn't graduate from college making more money than you somwhere.

There are way too many factors involved for anyone to give you more than just a very general guess.

My friend Josh makes $100,000/year starting in Boston...

I'm making a hair over $30,000/year here in Los Angeles... :(
