My wife takes up half, but she takes it out of the middle

Same. Although she has transition more to her side lately. Probably got sick of elbows to the face when I turn over.

I am amazed at how many of you allow your pets and/or kids to sleep in your bed with you. I would NEVER allow such nonsense in my house.

Had a pups a while back, she slept in her crate in the office and loved it there.
We have a 4 month old son, and he sleeps through the night in his crib.

Wife and I on the king. The way it should be.

I feel the same as you, but some people just like their cats or dogs on the bed with them and it doesn't bother me if they do. It's just not something I would do.

We leave our door open a lot of the time also and our cat sometimes *tries* to sleep on the foot of the bed, but I gently kick it off and it gets the picture. To be honest, usually our cat likes let outside right as we are going to bed, so it stays outside all night and then is at the door to be let in first thing in the morning. So, its not often I have to remove him from our bed.

have a queen bed here, we are both big fat people. King bed would be better, but, rooms in my house are kinda small, and dont want to shell out the $$$ for a king anyhow.

I get maybe 40% of it.
