How much mattress does your wife leave you with?

50% of our queen. We also don't share sheets. It's a glorious thing too. No cover hogging, no I'm too hot or too cold.

That's genius! Could almost be better than the two bed thing... :hmm:

How does that work though? Isn't there some type of overlap? How is the bed made in the morning? Does she have more layers?

Although if that doesn't work then I am definitely sawing the bed in half.

All of you willingly sleeping with animals D:

I slept in an Afghani's barn one time and between his goat saying "Blehehehehe!" every 5 minutes and then waking up with lice infested chickens on my chest never again....NEVER AGAIN!

Nobody has tried the double bed thing?

And why didn't make the Afghani sleep in the barn while you kept his wife and daughters company?

Beta.

All of it... 'cause she isn't there.

And thankfully...never will be.

before my injury, we both took up about 30% with the asshole cat taking up the center 40%.

now that I have to sleep on my back since my leg is in a cast for the foreseeable future, I'm taking up about 50% and my boyfriend/the cat are squeezed onto the other half.

We're about 45/45 in a Queen size, and half the time I end up falling asleep facing the other direction with several pillows petting a cat on her legs watching a movie.

The cat gets 10%, but he usually finds a place to lay on her, so it's blanket coverage 😛

The other cat rarely gets up here, he likes to sleep on his own or in the Penthouse sock drawer in the dresser.

I have a blanket I still like to use even when it's warm, she doesn't like it and uses the sheets, I lay on top of whats on my side most of the time.

We have a king and there is tons of room. I won't let animals sleep on the bed, that's just gross. Beds and bedrooms are for people. Pets get the floor or a doggie bed downstairs.

We use two twin sheets and she usually has a heavier twin blanket. There is still usually some overlap of the sheets in the middle when the bed is made but we have a fluffy enough comforter that you can't tell. We fold up the blanket and put it off to the side

We have a cal king so between the wife and the dogs, I get a 4-6 inch strip down the side, generally with my ass hanging out into free space.

I'm not 100% sure on our mattress size, I'm pretty sure it's a full though. My wife has always been a bit of a bed hog but I normally get 1/3 of the bed which is fine. This past week our 6 month old has been in between us because he's teething and has a rash on his lip so he refuses to sleep in his crib. This kid sleeps like he's doing a spread eagle swan dive. I'm left with about 9" worth of sleeping room on my side. I'm thinking about buying a new mattress and going 50's style (my own mattress and my wife can have her own mattress).

Anyone have any success stories with this? How much does your wife leave you with?

YEah but make one of those a King size. That's the bed you sleep and fuck on. The wife gets the twin size.

Lmao a full size bed?

we've got a king size memory foam. It's GREAT!

Well we might go to a queen....problem is we move every 1-3 years and theres no telling how big the place will be on the other end. When I moved to Hawaii I had to trash some MASSIVE furniture that just absolutely would not fit in the door of our apartment. Even our twin size bed took up 1/3 of the room, and we just slept on it on the floor because the bed frame she had was all wood/decorative thingy that was huge.

I am amazed at how many of you allow your pets and/or kids to sleep in your bed with you. I would NEVER allow such nonsense in my house.

Had a pups a while back, she slept in her crate in the office and loved it there.
We have a 4 month old son, and he sleeps through the night in his crib.

Wife and I on the king. The way it should be.

king or bust.

my wife and i slept on a double for a very long time before we were married, and looking back, i have no clue how we did that. now when we go on vacations if we have a queen in our room, it feels tiny.
