Seems to me like this would be something that maybe my childs great great grandson might be able to see, but I dont think it is something I will ever see.
All the brain is essentially is is a chemical computer. There are already drugs out there that alter the way our brains function... and no I am not talking about alcohol or illegal drugs. We already know how to manipulate the way a person can think through the use of chemicals. So how long before we can store all experiences a person lives to see/learn. Test tube 'brain dead' people I am certain can be made using already present technology. Kinda like the person professor X said on X-Men... a otherwise perfectly normal person with no brain activity who is alive and he asks the students if it would be moral to transfer to the terminal person who has a wife and kids to the brain dead person.. dont remember exactly how it went.. been forever since I seen the show.
Anyways it seems like something that can be done down the road. Kinda like a copy/paste of the brain.
I do not think that people who get transfered would be the same person again after the transfer. The new host would only have all the memories, but all brains function differently. It is safe to assume with a different brain, said person would not ever think the same way again.
