i have a Mc IIci sitting here waiting to be put to death by me, but i'm wondering if it is worth anything. date on the motherboard is 1989, i'm not sure what the specs are because the hdd is locked, so i can't get it to boot into the OS. if i do happen to put it on fleabay it'll be sold without the hard drive, as it may have personal files and such on it. the whole things works as far as it will boot up, and it has an 'accelerated 8-bit' graphics card, with functional moniter, keyboard and mouse. i'm not looking for buyers or anything, just curious to see if this is worth anything or if i should strip it for any useable parts. everything is yellowed from age, but thats what you get with a 12 year old machine
again, i'm not looking for buyers so don't bother to PM me, just wondering if anyone has any advice about what to do with it before i destroy it
edit: it has a Cache card as well, quantam ProDrive LPS 50 pin(?) scsi drive and 8 30 pin SIMMS of various sizes, i have yet to check the markings for the sizes
edit2: just pulled two of the ram sticks, one has two chips with markings
