It's at least $20 for the steak...probably like $26 for a good cut like filet mignon and that's all you get. Sides are extra.

If you have to ask, you probably shouldn't go. Ruth Chris only sells Prime steaks, which aren't cheap.

If I remember right, each side dish is about $9 each and steaks start at $25 and go up from there.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Last two times I ate there was for work so I wasn't paying. Food was excellent though.

My wife and I paid that for an appetizer, two sides, two steaks, and a desert with no drinks. It's not a cheap place to eat but the food is excellent.

We used to go there all the time until they wouldn't let us in because my brother was wearing sandals (like it matters when you're sitting at the table). Even that I could understand though, however, they denied some other guy for the same reason, and let him back in after he put on shoes. The problem was, he was wearing shorts, and was otherwise poorly dressed. Other than the sandals, my brother was wearing long pants and a collared shirt.

Pretty stupid policy IMO. Their steaks are good, but the steak we ended up having that nice was just as good.

Yep my Uncle took me there once. I think I had a small cut of Filet Mignon, he had lobster & bottled water (he was used to Vegas where tap water SUCKS), came to about $130 with tip.

ok folks, so i had it last night. i think its overrated and overpriced. ive had better and slightly less expensive steak in cleveland and chicago. the quantities were laughable. totally not worth it.

Slightly off topic but...

If you're ever in Indianapolis try St. Elmo's.

Only place I've ever had a steak you could cut with a fork.

Although, Texas de Brazil in Dallas, was close.

Doesn't a good steak over there start at $25-$30 just for the meat? Add the creamed spinach and potato and you're looking at $40-$50 easy (though one side order will serve 2.)

Thanks for the review and recommendation. I will cost off that place as one of the places we want to try out. Man... $9 for the side diskes. :Q

All of your upscale steakhouses will be like that. Everythings "a-la-carte".

It's been like that at all the ones I've been to at least, except for Texas de Brazil, which is all you can eat.

I keep hearing that the lobster bisque from there is the best around.
