I'm living in a 3 bedroom, 1200 square foot townhouse. I think the payment is like $580-$600 or so.

For a nasty-ass, old and dingy college campus apartment, it's roughly 500 a person if you have 3 people in the 2-bdrm. bah.

About $700 to $800 for a 2 bedroom w/o utilities around here. You can find cheaper 2 bedrooms, but they are pretty old and not very well furnished.

Why only large cities? I'm not really a city girl, I prefer smaller places where I can get to the mountains within an hour of driving if I want to (I live in Las Vegas, the population for the whole area is under 2 million).

2 bed/2 bath apartments in Vegas that are not in the abject ghetto run $600 - $800, water/sewer/trash included. The houses are so cheap here though, it'd be dumb to rent unless you know you're definitely not staying here.

Really depends on the location within this area, but the highest I've seen in San Jose is $3400/mo for a 2 bedroom.
