We use logic and rational reasoning to argue against religion. I admit that sometimes it is taken a bit far. I might even go a bit overboard at times when making a point (see my analogy refuting the common religious line "but you can't prove (G)god(s) do not exist").

Generally, when religions bash gays they do so because of a cherry picked verse out of a book that completely defies logic and rational thought.

I guarantee a video someone posted about homosexual love that generated the equivalent comments from straight people making fun of/disgusted with that lifestyle would get the members hand-slapped by mods because you may have hurt some emo's feelings.

Basically...say what you want about members and their respective religous beliefs all day long without fear of recourse. Just be sure you censor yourself before posting anyting about the homosexual lifestyle choices some members of AT have made.

However unlikely the concept is, you could very well decide that religion isn't the way for you. That is within your power. A homosexual may not have any more choice in their sexuality than a fish has between living in the ocean and on the land. There are those who berate homosexuals on this board because they disagree with the way they live, but the ire directed towards the religious is more justified because the religious are not trapped by biology in their way of life, but by ideas. Christians say that's impossible because only Jesus saves, and scientists are always throwing these stupid things called "facts" and "proof" at me, but I was there and know what happened.
