I recently finished some work on my computer and went to lift it and realized that my computer is really heavy. I weighed myself, then weighed myself holding the computer and discovered my computer weights in at 63 pounds. Anyone beat that? Curious who has the "fattest" computer on ATOT 😀

Yes, mine weighs 62 pounds, I beat you by a pound.

I'd guess mine weighs maybe 30-40lbs because of the steel case. What the hell are you 60 pounders packing?! An entire server cabinet?

Oh good, I beat you too.

My computer doesn't hate itself, so "beating/winning" is being heavier, not slimming down.

Many hard drives, steal case, water blocks, radiators, water, etc. I would guess the machines that are over 50-60 lbs are water cooled machines, or have way too many hard drives.

Think about 20-30lbs. Antec P183. Sucker is heavy. I just took the top off an Ikea tower cabinet, and use it as a trolley so I don't have to do much lifting.

I can't really be sure. I'd bet it's over 50lbs.

Antec 900 case with 3x 120mm fans and 1x 200mm "Big Boy" fan
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus heatsink (pretty big) with 120mm fan
Micro-ATX mobo w/ Core i7 860 and 16GB RAM on 4 modules
BFG NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 (big)
Rocketfish PSU (heavy)
3x 3.5" HDDs
2x 5.25" ODDs
1x External HDD bay with a 3.5" HDD loaded

I don't know, never weighed it. I have an aluminum Lian-Li knockoff made by Kingwin with around a half-dozen 80mm fans, 6 HDDs and copper heatsinks on my CPU and GPU.

I'll guesstimate high and say between 30-40lb.

I don't have a scale, but it's steel, I've been jamming crap into it for over two years, and it's steel. You know when you move a dresser and it leaves those impressions in the carpet for months? Yeah, that's why I never move my computer.

Winner! My 60+ pounders have all been water cooled, triple fan radiators, most have had been dual video card, and stuffed into steel cases, most commonly the Stacker STC-T01.
