How much does it cost for your health insurance from your work?

If I purchased health care insurance through my work, it would cost $50/month for me and $650/month for my family.

Thankfully my wife works for the government, which offers better insurance at <$300/month for the whole family.

Until March 1 this year, it was about $450/mo.

As of March 1, no cost as part of new benefits with promotion. Makes a nice difference.

Jeebus, that's NICE!

OP works in SoCal, maybe for Boeing? (That's where I used to work and those were 2 of the choices)

I know this is kind of off topic, but I REALLY liked Kaiser. I was pretty simple, but I was never denied anything that was recommended. Their Family Practice doctors are pretty awesome, too.

For my wife and I it works out to $69 a week for a "cadillac" plan as Obamacare calls it. Got a notice recently the company is working out how to keep the costs the same for us since they'll have to pay penalties. Yes, lets punish employers who try to take care of their employees.....

~$60/paycheck ($1560/yr) for just me, but its not a High Deductible plan, I think its a POS with 90%/70% in network/out of network coverage.

$70 per pay check or about $140/month for 1 person w/ 1K deductible. I will have to check and see how much for two and family with kid(s).

I surely missed the good ole day of free health care and free college money from my former employer (one of the largest manufacturers in US).

100 a month for family with a very high deductible. There is a bit more to it, but our premiums increased by 100% over last year, then we were given a "discount" for going to a physical so they can tell us to eat better. I expect in the next year or 2 to have it double again once obamacare kicks into full gear.

For some reason my rates jumped from ~$100 a month to $154 a month this year. Thats just for me.
