How much do you tip a Pizza delivery guy?

Either a few bucks(normally around 3, depends on how much the order was) or a beer or two (depends on how cheap the beer is )

As for which gets chosen more, its almost down the line even from what i remember from my experience

okay, i'm pissed. last night my roommate and i ordered pizza from roundtables at 9PM. The guy said it will take about 30 minutes. We wait until 10:10 and realize it has been a long time so we call and the shop is closed. We wait around til 10:30 and no one shows so we ended up doing a del taco run. We were (are) sooo pissed. As soon as that store opens today the manager is going to get an earful :|

if the place charges for delivery then less for the delivery guy, because OBVIOUSLY the delivery guy is already getting that extra $1.50 or whatever. although, the pizza place probably pockets the delivery cost..

I deliver pizzas, and we do remember who doesn't tip and who does. If I take 3-4 orders on one run, I will on purpose take the persons who doesn't tip last that I know of, and those that I know tip nicely first. And if its just that run, I let it sit until I have to take it sometimes. If your order is late, its not because of the delivery driver most of the times, its because the people inside coudlnt' made it fast enough and/or the shop is backed up. The drivers drive really fast for the most part actually make up time, so dont blame them for it not being exactly 45 minutes or so from the time of order, especially on a friday and saturday night.

So, do yourself a favor, tip at least 2 bux. Like was said earlier, we work for tips for the most part.
