$29+$5 tip. Relatively simple cut too, but whenever I go someplace cheaper they manage to fuck it up. I've been going to the same girl for a while now, worth the cost not to have to worry about it I guess.

$12 + $2 tip at barbershop. Usually once a month. Sometimes once every quarter when I go for the slick back look, then I buzz it.

great clips...once every 4-6mo depending on how busy I am...not really a priority, and my hair is groing inward more so than outward.

I go to a local salon... $16 to shave my head, typically takes about 5 minutes. I just give the girl a twenty and tell her to keep the change.

$20 beats the hassle of shaving my own head + clean-up.

When I lived in Dayton, OH for a summer there was a barber who charged $2. This was 4 years ago. A friend and I went there (he volunteered to go first) and he did a pretty good job. Of course we gave him like $10 after the haircut.

I cut my own hair every 6-8 weeks. I used to pay $15 after tip every time, so just cutting my hair twice paid for these clippers. I also got sick of the hassle of setting up the appointment in advance and driving to the salon.

i thought of cutting my hair once. I *HATE* waiting 30min- 1hr to get a haircut.

but how do you cut the back of the head? lots of mirrors?!

I'm the same way as JEDI but different clippers, plus I do it b/c they always cut it too short, and if I caution them not to they cut it too long. The back is the hardest, I have the clippers in one hand and a hand mirror in the other, and do it while using the bathroom mirror. Takes me about an hour for my style

this place in Houston TX have three Asian ladies that charge 5 dollars for men. I tip 5 as well.... So 10 bucks every 2 or 3 weeks depending on my schedule.

Some old Chinese guy has a place down the road called Mr. Kim's and charges $15.

I usually give him $2 or $3 tip also.

I usually get it cut once a month.

I was paying $12 + $2 tip, then I bought a kit off ebay. Now I do my own, averaging maybe monthly. I'm getting pretty damn good at it.

$0, yey for the flowbee.

I just googled flowbee and checked the amazon.com reviews and pretty much everyone seems to like it and says it lasts a long time. Interesting. I might get one some time as it seems to be much faster than doing it with clippers where you have to go over the same area more than once to get everything (like shaving)
