$700, 1br, 700 sq. ft. Water, gas (everything is electrical though...), and sewage included.
A bit pricey, but it's a lot better than paying $650 for a really old apartment here in Seattle. I assure you, there are a lot of crappy apartments around here.

Have you ever been to Bev Hills?

So disappointed. What a severe let down Bev Hills was.

yeah, numerous times. What was the big let down? It's just a baller ass neighborhood, that's it.

Maybe it's cuz I never went in there with expectations so I couldn't be let down lol.

Sis lives in Mexico Beach. Might want to look there. The real estate was way cheap a couple of months ago.

I'm actually looking to buy in that area. I love the Forgotten Coast area and looking to buy near Port St. Joe. I'm focusing on Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, or Cape San Blas. I want to be close to Port St. Joe for the annual scallop season. My relatives own three different beach condos on Navarre Beach so I've been borrowing those but it's just a pain to drive 3 hours east to Port St. Joe from there to catch scallops, crabs, and conch. We need a place near Port St. Joe.

Location, location, location. The place is a dump compared to other places I've traveled at a small fraction of the price.

Disappoint ...

$800 for 1400sq ft townhouse. Yay garage, especially in this weather.

Columbus, OH. Cost of living hovering slightly above 0.

so pardon the obvious, which part of BH were you in, and what are you comparing it to?

I don't care one way or another, I just don't get how BH can be called a dump.

$2350, NYC.

lol caps

I definitely don't miss that, I paid 1500 for a real nasty basement room in queens a 5 years ago, probably 600 sq ft.

I pay less now for our mortgage and taxes on a 2000 square foot house with .5 acre upstate.

Went kayaking in the bay. Realized it was scallop season at the end of our visit.😡 Hard as hell to get to M.B. 7 hrs from S.C., mostly back roads.
Nice though.

Sigh... My buddy and I just got a 2BR/2Bath in Hell's Kitchen for $4k/month total. So that's $2k/person. Sweet apt in a luxury bldg but still pretty pricey. I figured i'm young and i can give it a year or two 😛.
