How much do you keep in your PayPal account

when you have it set up right, you can instant transfer from your checking, so why keep money in there that could disappear?

Why not just give your cash to me?

Remember that paypal is NOT FDIC insured. If they go under, you lose all your cash.

Exactly. Transferring a couple of grand into that account would be of no advantage to you, yet there is some risk. So, what's the point?

Like iamwiz82 said your money is NOT FDIC insured so you could lose it all and have virtually no recourse (unless you funded using a cc in which case you may be able to dispute with your cc).

Generally nothing, unless i wait for more cash to come in so i can transfer it all at once.

Paypals tends to randomly lock or freeze account with big sums of money and im not gonna loan em my cash for indefinite time...
