I was joking about me driving a porche lool

Hi I'm driving my friend to her parents house because she left some stuff there, anyway it's 30 miles there and 30miles back so altogether ill be driving 60miles. How much do i charge her for gas? £ and not $ and my car uses diesel if that helps lol.

Do you have any interest in getting in said girls pants? If so - definitely nothing. If not - I still say you shouldn't ask for any money unless your budget is extremely tight - this is the kind of thing that falls within the realm of "stuff friends do for other friends." If she offers to give you money to cover costs then take it (however much she might offer). But if not, be satisfied with the fact that you did a nice thing for one of your friends and call it a day.

Put in other terms, there is no upside to you asking her for money - unless you are on an extremely tight budget and she is aware of that fact. Even an innocuous statement like "I'm happy to give you a ride, but would you mind covering the cost of gas" will give a negative impression of you, as it implies that: 1) you would not give her the ride if she doesn't pay for gas; and 2) you are a cheap bastard who won't spend even a little money to do one of your friends a favor.

FWIW - there are many things in the US where the unwritten rule is to not ask for compensation. E.g., it is common for someone who is moving to ask his/her friends to help pack and/or move their stuff from an previous home to a new home. Typically friends are not "paid" for their time and effort in that endeavor, and the usual "compensation" is limited to beer, pizza, or maybe beer AND pizza. Oh - and the expectation that you will help them out if and when they need to move. You might want to think of your situation the same way. Consider the ride you are giving your colleague an investment in your friendship, and potentially on you receiving a ride from her in the future.

I do enjoy the bj comments when OP has mentioned she is a girl.

If you want to make it easy with charging an actual use amount, just fill up before and have her fill up after.

I'll solve your problem if you solve mine. I drove a mile at 30 mph and wanted to come back at a speed that gave me an average of 60. But the gf didn't see how that was possible, even doing 90. At 60, the trip would have taken 2 minutes but it took two minutes to travel the first mile. She said I was shi* outa luck.
Eh ?

You forgot to include the four hour b&w (bitch and whine) session.

Only you know I'm shemale great now stop with the blow job jokes U dirty old geezers

Fill up before you go.
Make the trip.
Fill up when you get back and let her pay.

Why is this so hard.

PS) I would do it for free.

Fill up your car before leaving and have her pay to top it off at the end of your trip. It sounds like you only want to cover gas and this way you don't over charge her or under charge her.

that's all it takes, OP. Perfectly accurate and fair. Not all old geezers are assholes 🙂
