$10/hour a few years ago. I've worked a few jobs since then inbetween... anywhere from $7 to $9/hour. I had two jobs at $10/hour but the one I'm at now is $8/hour with possibility for advancement. I think it tops otu at 11-12 here though. The job itself is enjoyable though so it's good, better than any of the jobs I've had in the past.

I may take up a second job on the side at $10/hour once I get my car.

would have been about 1980, it was more than minimum wage, about $6 an hour?

i worked for Del Monte Corp doing farm work on an "experiemental" farm, where they grew "test" vegetables to try new breeds of corn, beans, asparagus

but, my dad ran the place and hired me

it was sweet, it was summer only (mostly) , but i would make $2-$3 K per summer, which was large $$$ back then for a kid

i always blew it on pizza and video games (arcades )
