Depends on the specs of the monitor (max resolution, refresh rate, contrast ratio, brand, interface connections, etc).

$25 shipped!

I can buy them for $25 each. Would people buy them for $40-$50 shipped?

It would cost more to ship them than you paid for them.

I would seriously steer clear, they're too big/bulky & far too low value to be worth messing with.

Yep, shipping almost negates the profit you would make (assuming you DO profit).

Yea, thats what I was thinking. Even if I sold them at $50 shipped. I would only be making about $10 each.

CRTs are on their way to extinction. Very few new ones are sold and that goes for bigger than 20" TVs as well.

I don't think you would be able to sell them for over $80 and that is the total price of everything to get it to the customer.

I wouldn't pay $25 for a 17" CRT.

I sold off 2 of mine earlier to make room for LCDs, sold 'em at $10 each locally.

If you can unload them locally it might be cool, otherwise you will have to deal with shipping heavy bulky crap

People are regularly giving away 17 in CRT monitors on craigslist, so I think you should pass on this opportunity.

$1000-$1500 depends on Make and model. 1500 for one that support 1024x768.

Back in 1990 that is...
My first ViewSonic PS17 was for about $1100 in 93.

I don't know anyone who will even buy a 17" CRT anymore. You may as well go to 19, it's a lot nicer.

It's probably not even worth the hassle of receiving the monitors and shipping them out again. If you want a cheap dual-monitor setup though, there you go! See if any of your friends want one for $50, that would be some good profit for you won't have to pay for the outrageous shipping.
