How much could I sell 17inch CRT monitors (new in box) for?

I tried to give away FREE a viewsonic 17" CRT, no one was willing to pay for the gas to come pick it up.

CRTs have negative resale value at this point.

I would never pay for a CRT monitor... there are so many people/businesses in the world just giving them away when they upgrade to LCD.

$25 shipped!

I can buy them for $25 each. Would people buy them for $40-$50 shipped?

It would cost more to ship them than you paid for them.

I would seriously steer clear, they're too big/bulky & far too low value to be worth messing with.

agreed. i came to this conclusion a month or two ago wishing to sell my 19" diamond pro crt. 300 new, in great condition, and couldnt find anything of the sort going for more than 90 bucks

nevermind shipping on these bastards can go as high as 50 bucks for ground. meh

Yea, thats what I was thinking. Even if I sold them at $50 shipped. I would only be making about $10 each.

Jeez, I don't think you know how much shipping is.
It certainly wouldn't be $15.
Shipping a 6 lbs item ground is like $9.

Shipping a monitor will be at least $25 ground to anywhere.

Yeah, back in the day everyone had 15". It's funny how small those things look. I can't even deal with a 15" screen

I'm happy with my 19" CRT but wouldn't pay for one to be shipped here. It would be nice to buy LCD's but I have a life and bills and can't afford to drop $400 to replace my CRT.

depends on the ignorance/desparation of the buyer.

I'd say $50 if you can sell them locally.

Anytime I have the option to sell stuff in quantity, I always check to see what the item is going for on ebay. You can usually do better in smaller venues (CraigsListOfShit, swap boards, FS/FTs, hanging up flyers)
