You love your daughter more than words can say but you're content with the fact that you have nothing to do with your son? Because your ex refused to abort/give him up? And if your son looks you up later in life and asks you "Dad, why did you choose not to be a part of my life?" what will you say? "Because your mom is a bitch. She knew I didn't want you yet she refused to abort you. Out of spite I chose not to be part of your life."

You almost understand it. I had my daughter with my wife at the time. We decided we couldn't be married by the time our daughter was almost two years old. I already knew and loved my daughter. This other kid I've never met. I'm not spiteful toward him, just indifferent. I didn't want another kid, his mother did. See the abortion thread for my take on things.
