You're giving away 4-6oz bags to trick-or-treaters? Is it dirt Mexican weed or is it the good stuff? Wish I was in your neighborhood...

That would be enough to get me out trick-of-treating again.
damn straight

How much is it to just buy a bag? I think you have sent the message to the neighborhood.
It's not as though I'm the halloween grinch and they just know to skip my place or some crap. Back in CA we'd get dozens of kids, it was great. I must live in the wrong neighborhood here in TX though. 5+ years of no shows and you kinda give up on it.

Kids know to avoid the pedo's houses.

DFW FTL

Everyone goes to the church "trunk or treats" and they grab candy out of the trunks of cars and the lucky ones get abducted/

I'm amazed you spent as much as a hundred bucks.
At walmart or costco that would get you thousands of pieces of candy.

Are you throwing out whole handfuls?
Or did you just get ripped off at the store?

EDIT:
My mom stopped giving out candy last year and we didnt do it this year now that I am home.
Northern Virginia is infested with illegal aliens and she doesnt support or encourage them in any way. This includes the anchor babies who are now old enough to go out and get candy.
We are handing out bags of candy.

You are incredibly ignorant as well as stupid.
I am 29.
I did 9 years in the Navy.
My parents never had the money or time to hand me anything in my life and if they had the money they still would not have given it to me.
I worked as a civilian for two years in good jobs at semiconductor plants.
The plants closed down because of competition and the current economy.
I only have 8 years left to use my G.I. Bill and Navy College Fund.
I got the Navy College Fund at forty thousand dollars because I was accepted into the Nuclear Technician Program and survived it as well.
Wanted to go to college full-time to get the most money from the G.I. Bill. Mother suggested I come to live with her so I could focus on my degree completely and start again fresh.
Before I lost my job I not only had spending money but saved about 55 thousand dollars as well. Didnt want to dump it in a house given the current market.

Fuck you.

And fuck the whore who raised you to be so dumb and useless.

I'm going to announce a winner here.

I live in an apartment, never yet had any kids around but you never know. I bought two $1.49 bags of candy just in case any kids show up.

So far I've eaten about half of it. Happy halloween!

The pedo's houses are where the kids know they can get candy any day of the year. It doesn't have to be Halloween.

But masks and dressing up are still involved.

.... I wish I had (or should I be glad that I hadn't) come up with that.

Wow, what a miserable bag of puke you are. Here's a hint for 'ya, folks who are too damm stingy to give out candy are usually the ones who get their house pelted with eggs, you deserve it Dr. Killjoy..

Don't know if any showed up tonight or not. We decorate the house every year, but unfortunately we seem to be the only ones on the street year after year. *sigh*
The neighborhood is quite well off and very safe, but for some reason people just don't decorate. Some leave the lights on, but barely a pumpkin.

This year we took my daughter to my parents' house where they get a ton of traffic, and did some trick-o-treating with her. So, we left the candies at the door in a nice basket for kids to help themselves. Last year and the year before when we came back, the basket was always empty, but this year doesn't look like anyone took anything. Maybe rain and crappy neighbors scared the kids away :(

WOW....defensive are we...so they suckered you in the the Navy Nuc. program...I had PERFECT asvabs and they tried to do that shit too for about 3 years after.

I love all the tards using the excuse they are living at home, have tens of thousands saved, but cite 'the housing market'.

Do what MEN did for decades, rent a reasonable place and buy when the time is right.

Another sad thing is those living at home saying they are doing it so they don't have to work...yet are still only pulling off 2.5-3 GPA's.

I will say the military is turning out more bitches than men lately....I love how some of you guys have to mention rank and force for years after you are out.

Trust me though, if your parent's were more well off they'd rather pay your way than give up their middle age lives to still having grown children at home....do you really think it's fair to your mom...I am assuming since a father isn't mentioned she is a single mom now.

How the fuck is she supposed to meet people with a grown man still not leaving the nest?

tsk tsk.

anyway it wrapped up at 9:30pm...the worst visit we had was some adult woman that came with a stroller and 6 bags...she claimed her 'babies were sick at home'.

whatever...I gave her 6 bags of candy.

The cutest was a 3-4 year old dressed in this puppy suit...he was just bouncing around shoveling candy in his mouth.

We had probably 40 kids - cutest were two 7-8 year olds that said they had a trick. So we said ok... tell us... and they proceeded to do some cheer leading cheer. pretty funny :) They got extra candy!

Worst are the kids who look like they're 20 and are barely dressed up, oh well. It's all fun anyways!

I went through my 3 big bags of candy by 8 so I had to shut the lights off early. Usually only get 10-20 kids this year got 50+. One group was around 10 teen girls, one was dressed in a black "death angel" outfit with mini wings and all. Dress was super short and she was wearing black matching hose too. Wifey saw me drooling and got pissed!. A dude came by alone wearing jeans and a leather jacket, had to have been 18-20 he was almost as big as me!, I was gonna ask if he wanted a beer instead of candy..

Nada...nada dammed thing.

They started bussing kids from the poor parts of town into the nicer neighborhoods a few years back. Apparently, they don't get candy in their own neighborhoods, so it's ok for them to come here...

It got so that we'd go through an easy $50 worth of candy in a couple of hours...and they still kept coming...
My wife and I usually go out & about on Halloween nowadays. Do our grocery shopping, hit Costco, have dinner, etc. Less crowded and very few kids running around the restaurant...and I don't have to deal with "ding-dong"... me no habla engles...gimme candy" for 4-5 hours.
