I have been living in this neighborhood about 5 years now...

year 1-4 we were sort of off the beaten path...so we'd have been eating nice for a few days of left-overs.

last year it was raining so we didn't get a good gauge.

We do bags normally...my wife is running out for more!

A few kids have gotten smart and came back a few times :)

surprised you aren't putting it in the bag and then pulling it back out. are you only giving it to kids who pull up in non-modified cars who don't look like their parents are on welfare?

I haven't had a trick or treater at my house for around 7 years. We aren't mean or anything, but there was a mistake awhile back and I got put onto the sex offender registry. At least it saves me some $.

so far, 4 kids in 2 groups. This neighborhood doesn't have too many trick or treaters.....

 I didn't think there were a lot of white kids in your hood. Is your wife forcing you to give candy to minorities?

dNor, you see, when they say that you should "stick a treat in the kid's bag," they're not saying that you should, well, um..........Mr. Hansen will be by shortly to explain it. Just have a seat over there, and he'll be along soon, so hold tight. Just not too tight, or you might lose circulation.

I bought about 20 bags, which my wife feels was way too much. She's probably right. I was going for variety.

30+ kids so far. The cat is curious about all this. She thinks the scarecrow and pumpkin are her toys.

I wish more came by here. We went over 5 years without a single trick or treater and last year we only had one. One has knocked today but I don't have candy. It's not really worth bothering if only one shows up.

We've only lived in our house for a month now. I've lived in apartments for the past 8-9 years, so this is my first real experience passing out candy.

3 bags were gone in an hour. So far, I'm disappointed by the low turnout.
