Total: $360

Good thing I can reuse my Accounting book from last semester or it would be another $200. And I still have to pay another $50 for some bs online service.

mine is nearly 300 (one used and one new) for the first eight week semester. second eight weeks' expense should be smaller since one of the books i bought covers both halves of the class.

I know this won't shock most of you, but I was shocked that my accounting book cost 160 bucks. Most expensive POS book I've ever had to buy

$145.11.

I'm too lazy to resell :). Might as well get 50% back selling it to the bookstore.

$416.82

ONLY because I had to flippin buy the calc book again because the new edition came out. Since I need it for this semester I had to buy again and couldnt even sell my old one back. Lame.

Then again work will reimburse all of it so I shouldnt complain right?

4 classes:
Bookkeeping 1
Business Math
Business Law
Environmental Science

Book total: $568.

The good part is that unless they change textbooks in the next year, I can use the bookkeeping text for several other classes.

~$250 - only $180 for 4 books I got online, the other ones I HAD to buy in the book store which cost me $70

buying used books online is where its at... $160 in book store?... $17 used online

can check other book stores near the campus too, they have steals sometimes

Paid about $300, for all used books. Taking 5 classes, and two classes required 2 bokos.

~$270. 2 textbooks for sciences - 2nd volume of a physics textbook and a new textbook for bio as it is now "genetics", 2 lab manuals, and a bunch of books for my social science class.

It'll probably be another $100 or more for next quarter (Spring) as I'll be finishing my core social science class and taking intro to biochemistry.

~$10. Won't be buying textbooks for classes since I have many friends that already did. I have to buy handouts from the store though. Engineering btw =)

My teachers believe that "Why use text books when everything you need to know is pretty much on the internet anyways?"

$170 plus some $90 proprietary software. Two textbooks were the $170 expense, used, from Amazon. Two courses don't have textbooks - they deal with ANSYS (we use the extensive help menus as a textbook) and the other is a CAD systems course, mainly Pro/ENGINEER. The fifth course, Heat Transfer, uses the Thermodynamics textbook from last semester.
The $90 software is some project simulation thing for a project management course. It can't be purchased used - the licenses are one-time-use dealies.

Very cheap semester actually, I got lucky. 26 books new would have been $565ish. I got them all for $340ish. Now I just have to see how many extras I pick up for research and such.

ChaoZ is your accounting book the shiny blue one (I think Kelso?)
