I didn't have to buy any text books this semester, but paid $750 last semester.

7 books and a 5-cd set for $420 after tax. Most were new too. I am pissed that one book online said it was $23 cheaper in our school's bookstore so when I went to my other bookstore and checked there I didn't buy it because it was $8 above what it said online. Then I get to our bookstore and go to buy it and find out the real price. I was pissed.

Also spent $5 more on another book because the professor said that we needed the fourth edition and the other bookstore only had one copy left and it was third edition, but $10 cheaper. I decide against it, then go to our bookstore only to find that none of them had heard of the fourth edition and half the class (roughly 100 people) also bought the third edition.

So I could have done better, but that's life. I've really gotta remember to check my textbook listing before the semester starts so I can buy online.

$320 for 3 books. Luckily I can reuse my math book, or it would of been about $200 more.
