I have no idea which CPU I'm using

Dell Dimension 4600 with P4 2.8/800, which one is it?

381W according to that page and what do you know, my system runs fine on a 380W Antec TruePower. However that's full load on everything (100% CPU load, all hard drives reading\writing, sound playing, optical drives at full bore, video card at full 3D speed).

This thing recommends 405 watts for all my junk. Good thing I gots the Antec TruePower 430. :beer:

That thing is BS.
Will it calculate my fuel economy, instantaneous horsepower by make and model at any given speed without a dyno run too?

not by make and model...by displacement and # of cylinders ;)

Obviously my Antec 330W can power my "360-watt" computer just fine. Concievably a lesser brand would have no trouble...

according to the meter on my case, I'm using about 190w at the moment.

the calc reccomends 285w power supply

kill-a-watt meter is the way forward
