Won't do much ... I'm generally moving around with my engine at the human equivalent of idle speed. The mental image of someone standing there screaming insults at me just to keep my vitals high enough to give blood is hilarious though. :laugh:

never yet. too young. but here it's a law to donate while you're in the army so i will donate in the future and probably after that as well. my grandpa (now 71) is still in the IDF and has donated blood. he had to get a doctor to sign lots of paperwork as well. he's really fit though.
 
It seems like people either donate once and hate it or donate and decide it's awesome so they do it like once a week. I've personally done it a few times, whenever the blood supply at the hospital here runs low. I've also been turned away because of new tattoos.
 
I've donated once, passed out and was sick for two days.

I would like to donate more often, but I don't want to go through that experience again...

I know I know, it can save a life.
 
I've donated more than 5 times, I'm sure. I almost passed out the last time, and I'm not too anxious to go back. Heh. They did send me a nice card saying thanks for not quitting when everything went all fuzzy around the halfway point. 😛

More than 5 times here. I started in high school just so I could skip class and get some free food. Now I do it regularly just for the fun of it.

I actually passed out the first time I ever gave blood.
