If kids accidentally step onto your yard while texting do you tell them to get off?

Is she 18?

When you're 80+ does it matter?

Pretty sure it always matters.

Not if the last time you got a "reaction" was the Ford administration.

LOL I always love threads about texting.

Hell why not hate instant messaging or email, cell phones or telephones in general. Why even have snail mail. If I need to reach some one I'll talk to them in person.

 You fools and your irrational hatred of texting.

Zero since I reject all of them. People always call me to see if I got their TM. The Irony.

In the states I txt'd maybe once a month, or less. Since moving to Thailand, much more. Now I couldn't live without it. I hate talking to people when a few words are all that's required.

2 weeks ago with my old phone, it was filled at 100 (with auto-delete set so I could keep getting messages). Now, it's at ~50.

This. Phones are for talking, keyboards on computers are for typing.

I.... don't carry my keyboard everywhere. Conveniently enough my phone has a full-size keyboard, and I check my email with it, and text about as often as I make calls: maybe a few a day at most, for either.

As a college student, phones are impossible to use at every moment you need to get a hold of someone. I might be too busy or engaged in something where I can type a text message but maintain focus, and not have to break out the phone, and at times able to conceal the phone or otherwise not create a distraction. Like class.

texting during class would get you kicked out of just about every class I've taken over the past 2 years...
