I have 965 (Verizon) but to be fair a ton of them are pretty old, as in last year old.

I don't necessarily agree with this, but that's probably obvious since I mentioned WinMo 6.1 above which means I have a smartphone and you'd have to be silly to buy one if you only wanted it for phone stuff . But yeah, most of the time, I don't need a full on vocal conversation to get what I need... a text can be simple and answered at their leisure. If I need an answer as soon as possible, then I will call instead.
