I feel the vast majority of people have thousands of mp3's they wont ever even listen to, its all about quality and not quantity. I can hit shuffle and I know any song I land on I will like whereas most people hit shuffle and it could land on one of their favorite songs or some trash like dj tiesto remix - sunshine remix double helix von nostrom or blondie - lover girl

Usually I just don't buy the album if I don't like it/won't listen to it. Everything on my player is something I like, which is why it's on there. Why wouldI put stuff on there that I don't like?

People never cease to suprise. I know a lot of people that have a ton of music they dont even like. More than likely they like a song by an artist then download their entire album history regardless of enjoying the music or not. To tell the truth I think you just look to pick a fight with me whenever possible and you know thats the truth!
It's true.

I just dont understand why it becomes a competiton or bragging rights. Ok you have 25,000 mp3's 24000 of them you wont ever even listen to, yay for you, I just dont get it.

Thats the other thing, people into trance/techno have the most ridiculous lists of all. They will have like 40 remixes of the same songOriginally posted by: Josh

I have a bunch of songs I don't listen to on the regular but then it's nice every once in a while when it randomly pops up and i'm grooving. I also DJ on the regular so having a nice wide variety of music that I may not listen to but others would is always a good thing.
I sorta get what you're saying. It seems like it would be hard for someone that has 30k+ songs to actually listen to all that music, unless they used it for DJing (my friend has that amount of music but she DJs weddings and stuff) or something like that.Originally posted by: jandrews

it's not a competition or bragging rights for everyone just because you deem it so. i for one could care less, but now i'm going to compete to download as many obscure songs as i can just to annoy you.Originally posted by: jandrews

It's fun to queue up 30,000 songs and hit randomize.
