1,729 songs on my laptop currently. I have about 25 CDs (went through the years of pop like NSync and Britney Spears, on to RNB like Usher, and on to rap such Nelly, Chamillionare, and rock such as Nickel Back, Linkin Park, and Dragonforce). I have probably around 50 or so MP3 CD's I keep around the house with a total of probably around 3000 more different songs. I listen to everything. So I have music spanning everything pretty much.

I have about 12,000 MP3s now (hit an awesome independent used CD/record store yesterday and loaded up, which added a few hundred songs). I have a tonne of records that I have not bothered to convert though, so that would probably get closer to doubling my count if I ever got around to doing that.
