Presently, about 50. Typically, I only go to 90 degree angles at my elbows, but I've been going lower since I picked up some cheap grip bars. They allow you to go lower than you normally would be able to. You can really feel it if you're not used to going that low.

Situps and crunches have been where I've focused my efforts lately, usually doing 100 isn't too difficult. Not 100 a minute, but just 100 continuously before having to stop.

I used to do 40 before stopping. But haven't worke dout much in years so I'd be happy with 20 right now. heh.

Actually, people in the military do just pump ... in order to quickly go through punishments.

What the...if I were punishing someone by making them do pushups (I don't as it's not my place) and saw that they were using incorrect form, I would punish them further by making them do correct pushups.

Which branch of the military have you been serving with that allows this "pumping?"

lol
if you want to try this pumping you speak of in front of the top that is punishing you, go right ahead. I'll fight through the official pushup thank you very much.

as of now, my 2 minute is 47 pushups at APFT standards. however that will go up, but I've been focusing more on improving my run score.

It's been a while since I've done push-ups and they aren't a good indication of strength once you get past 12reps/set. Then it becomes an endurance measurement as the type I muscle fiber takes over.

Used to be a beast, but ever since tore my supra-spinadeous in my shoulder, my push up count has dropped close to 0.

Not having surgery on it either - I don't want to go through more rehab. :(
