If you don't do them regularly, I find that the stamina for push-ups doesn't last very long. I used to do ~60 push-ups every day just to get my blood flowing, and I stopped doing them for just a few weeks and found I could barely manage 25. Right now, I could probably do 40 or so.

Heh...I actually peaked after basic training. Once everything got a chance to rest, I was much stronger.

With proper form & full depth and extension, around 45 before failure. If I cheated on them like a lot of people do, it'd be in the 75'ish range.

wow, so you actually believe everyone?

Seriously, these threads always get out of hand. I remember when someone brought up running the mile. Some idiots actually claimed to run it in less than 4 mins. I love ATOT.

Everyone probably heard you grunting and thought you were rubbing one out.

This is ATOT. After these folks do their 2467 pushups without breaking a sweat they're going out for fine dining in their luxury sled with their model GF's.

Honestly, last year I did 46 for some gym class test or something. I dont know how many I can do, but I would guess not much more than that.

I've got the flu right now, so I'm guessing about 45 until failure.. Normally around 65/70, I guess...
