How many people here still use dialup?

I'm curious because a lot of the time after putting rather large images, we put "not safe for dialup, or dialup death"....i personally only know two people still who have dialup; everyone else has broadband. Do people here still have it?

Like here. I *could* get broadband if I wanted it, I suppose... but I would have to do one of the following:

1) Set up a satellite internet connection - $1000 setup + ~$100/month for horrendous service
2) Set up air gateway repeating system... min $1000 per hop + ~$50/month for fairly good quality service

So right now I'm on dialup. I'd rather pay off my car than set up either of those hellacious options.

Not me at all.

I have cable at home and at work. There's no option for that in your poll.

There's also no option when it comes to your grammar/spelling/English. :brokenheart:

In Columbus, OH???

There should be an option to vote "I'm on dialup because there's no broadband available here."

I live on a mountain, and the only thing I could get presently is expensive satellite that would still be unsatisfactory for gaming even if I could afford it.

"I do and I plan on keeping it for a while" isn't a fair way to represent those like me, so consider the poll skewed.
