How many people are on a broadband connection?

How many of you are on 56k? DSL? Cable? T1? T3? etc...

Personally I'm still in a 56k till my DSL service arrives which should be about another 3 weeks!

Cable, if it isn't going out every other minute. Stupid Comcast @home, they are such morons. You pay $40 a month for something you expect it to not go out 2-3 times an hour.

RoadRunner cable 250KB/40KB upload/downloads respectively. And yes, I do brag about it. 😉

I heard @home caps your upload at somwhere near 128kbps. 🙁 Sephiroth_IX broke it to 250KB!!! lucky... 🙂

RoadRunner here also, usually around the 250KB/40KB download/upload. Funny thing is that my friend swears his 768kb/384kb download/upload is 3 to four times faster.

Crap 64kbps ISDN, can use both lines to get 128kbps but then I pay double for the time I spend on the net.

ADSL is just to expensive here to make me want it, and that 1gb download per month is just stupid, I download more with my isdn and it costs me alot less.

3 meg cable? Sounds exaggerated to me... Cable around here usually doesn't surpass 200KB/s for downloads. I myself am on the typical 56K connection. 5.35KB/s down, 3.5KB/s up.

Cable here. Usually around 1000/300. Of course I don't get to use it until after work at 2 in the morning.

Well here at work, i'm on an OC-12, however when using these forums i'm routed through our "slow" OC-3 🙂 And at home i'm on a roadrunner cable modem

nice and slow charter@home here
at work we only have couple of t3s
fed govt doesn't like wasting money on bandwidth apparently 🙂
