I'm 24 and basically only play it when I am waiting for something. For example, hair cut, doctor's office etc. It helps pass the time nicely in those situations.

in my lifetime span, i've owned nintendo, gameboy, n64 and slim ps2. don't have them right now and they are all gone.

i'm not planned on having another one.

I'm 19 and I've got a DS lite. I bought it so I could play FIFA 07 in between my classes and it actually gets more use back at my dorm. I play it every day, FIFA 07 is ridiculously addictive If you're a soccer fan at all I'd highly recommend it. I also picked up Final Fantasy III today but I haven't got around to playing it much yet.

I don't think they're designed for kids, though there are a lot of titles geared towards children. I bought mine because I wanted a portable gaming system and didn't want to spend much money (like on the PSP), plus it opens and closes so the screen won't get scratched

28 here, and I own a GBA:SP that I play on occasion, for the most part when killing some time between classes, or at the mechanic, etc.

I owned a Game Gear and a Gameboy previously, both of which I never really played. Haven't played on an ordinary console since getting rid of my Genesis, and I have no urge to pick up any of the new consoles. I've found there's just too little time in the day to play at home--on computer or console--being saddled with adult responsibilities.

I'm 25, my wife is 25, we each have a DS. They're great. She plays Brain Age every night. I use mine a lot in the car (when she's driving) and in the airport/on the plane when I'm travelling.

Don't know what a DS is, but I gather from this thread it's a portable gaming console. I've never owned a portable game thingy, but a mate of mine borrowed a PSP a while back and I was impressed - is the DS as good as the PSP? I would certainly consider one if I wasn't so strapped for cash at the moment.
