how many of you don't actually have a modified, souped-up car of some kind?

So, how many of you people DON'T in REALITY have turbos, custom this, custom that, whatever, on your car.

How many of you actually drive a car straight from the factory without screwing with it?

How many of you have better things to spend your money on?

How many of you really care about so-and-so's tripped-out sports coupe?

Just curious...

I don't drive a modded car.

I don't screw wiht my car because it's not worth it (98 200sx), but would if I drive a more expensive/newer car.

Better things to spend my money on? Is that a trick question?!?

And yes, I do care about sports coupes because I'm a car fanatic, I just don't like ricers :)

I have a light blue '91 Lumina car. Probably the only things custom are new engine (old one fuct), CD player, subwoofer. I also modded it with some rust and the "Lumina" name on the trunk fell off (that's my gf's fault though).

I just have an old Suzuki Sidekick, but I put a NOS sticker on it so now it's all souped up and faster than anything else on the road.

1) No poll? You suck at the Internet.
2) Ricers should be taken out back and run over with my 1988 RX-7 Turbo.
3) Stock. No rice, no performance, no nothing.

I have an aftermarket sunroof and fuzzy dice on the rear-view mirror.
Does that count?

My car still has factory stereo! I have old speakers that somebody gave me, and a 10 cd changer out in the shed somewhere, but i just don't bother. The factor cd player and speakers work just fine for me.

exactly and most get into flame wars about who is the best brand etc. and will go down swinging and in reality will never own the car they are defending with their last breaths

Mine has a turbo, but it came that way from the factory, along with every other option. I bought it used, but it's not been fooled with to my knowledge other that some of the exhaust which was replaced due to a big hole from a rock. Supposedly my kind of car has a lot of potential for aftermarket modification relatively inexpensively, however it is my daily driver so I have no intentions of the sort. If I bought a car to modify, it would be an '89 Turbo Caravan. :)

1 Stock Crown Vic, and a mostly Stock Olds Aurora. It has a custom exhaust on it, but its definitely not one of those fart can jobs.

Does putting a CD player in a 1990 Toyata Tercel hatchback count as souping it up??? If not, I put on a steering wheel cover too.

My 88 Vette is totally stock... Heck, until about 3 years ago it had the original factory tires on it!

My 97 Pathfinder is totally stock too, with the exception of a Kenwood CD player.

My '94 Ford Probe GT is stock. I'd love to get the time to add a CAI and the money for custom exhaust, though.

It even has the stock tape deck, but the front speakers have been changed to Sony Xplodes because one of the stocks went out.
