How many of you actually play Crysis?

I thought this would be an interesting question. Since it seems such a popular centerpiece of quite a bit of video-related discussion, I felt it was appropriate to post here. So many graphics card questions or replies include the "well if you want to play Crysis decently" comment when choosing a video card for example.
But really, I know of none of my friends who actually play it past one time, and I know of no one who actually plays it for any length of time. I didn't particularly like the game myself, but that's just me. It just seemed like an eye candy "demonstration" walkthrough, and frustrating at times.
I don't see people rushing home to play it, now CoD4 that's another story. So my question is, how many actually play it and find themselves playing it exclusively, or am I correct in assuming it's gained popularity as more of a "benchmark" to judge your system by?

It was good game besides the brisk hardware requirements. People are flocking to play CoD4 because A. Good Multiplayer B. Easy + Linear (Which will satisfy the average joe) C. Not steep hardware requirements (not of large significance).

I didn't bother to play Crysis until I got my current machine. I enjoyed it but I will not play it again for awhile (beat it back in Jan)

I've played through it twice so far.

Love playing it, only obstacle is the framerate. Luckily I've found Crysis is playable even @ 15-20 FPS, although it gets a bit slow at times.

I'm pretty big into the LAN party scene and I know... zero gamers personally who play Crysis.

Does it have multiplayer?

Same here.

Played in Medium settings waiting for hardware to play max settings with some AA.

Strange as it may sound I got Call of Duty 4 and Crysis at the same time. I bounced back and forth between them for a few days.
CoD 4 has been a much more engrossing experience. Crysis will probably keep me going for a while too, but I suspect when all is said and done I will probably have fonder memories of World in Conflict.

Played it through and liked it for the most part (the nano suit felt like a cheap gymnic to overcome things like fences and such). Tried multiplayer and it sucks compared to COD4.

Uninstalled crysis until A- I upgrade and can play everything on ultra, B- The Mechwarrior: Living legends mod comes out http://www.moddb.com/mods/8528...warrior-living-legends

I play it, I think the gameplay is pretty incredible, the levels starting from the spaceship and onward are good for a one time deal but everything before that is worth replaying, I've been fooling around with some levels and found many stuff I didn't notice on previous playthroughs, it's also pretty nice finding new ways to kill Koreans and generally just gawk at the awesome visuals.

I love this game and it has a huge mod community so I'm thinking I'll be playing this for a long time still. I'm not sure why a bunch of people thought it was a mediocre game, it has pretty satisfying gameplay.

And I gotta say, tweaking and benchmarking Crysis for maximum visual quality and performance is a whole other bunch of fun all in itself :)

I've played it all the way thought once.

Next time I play it I want to be able to maxed out the graphics settings, so i'm waiting for a video card that can do it.

Guess i'll get back to it in 2 or 3 years.

Played it all the way through. I really like the game a lot. Probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite game from last year. The final boss battle practically turned into a slide show at times though... I'll likely play it through again when I get a new video card.

Yup. I still load up the editor from time to time and make custom firefights.

Also waiting on some mods :)

I played and finished it three times.

Now I'm spending much more time making maps than playing the campaign or multi-player combined. I just love SandBox 2.

I didn't care too much for it at first, then got in to it a little. At least up till the floaty/no gravity, (interior os a space ship?) part.
Now I am bored with it and playing Portal.
I will finish Crysis but I won't play it again.

Played it through, finished, now it's just used as a stress testing app for hardware components.....will play through again when I can play DX10 'Very High' 1920x1200 2xAA.

couldn't finish it because it was so damn boring, not fun, unoriginal, no story. maybe played 2-3 hours and uninstalled it.
