I run SETI for Team Anandtech.

I've seen people comment in this thread that TA won't miss them because they don't have a very fast computer. Some of our best members don't contribute many computers but contribute much to recruiting for the team and in the discussions that go on in the distributed computing forum. We appreciate any contribution a person can make to the team. It is a team effort and members with only one or two computers make up a very large part of the team's production.

I run folding@home on 2 single proc computer, plus 1 dual proc computer, but on the dual, it won't run on both procs...I tried with folding control center, and having it create 2 individual files, but it still wouldn't work, so 3 processors running folding

Running SETI before I realized it's a waste of time.
If your computer does indeed decode the packet with an alien signal, you'll never ever know anything about it.

Why do you say that? You'll certainly be recognized if you find the signal.
