2000 in august 500 in april. 2400 sqft house, i suspect my neighbor is stealing electricity during the day but haven't come up with proof yet. I live alone, have 1 computer, running 24/7, 1 wine fridge, and a few brand new energy star appliances running, no other elec during the day. thermostat set to 73.

Actually your computer running 24/7 plus that thermostat setting would probably do it. And depends on how well insulated, how efficient your air conditioner is, direction of your house, amount of shade your house receives etc.

1715 in a 1700sq ft house with the thermostat set at 73 for about $220. I'm around all day so the temperature never moves and I watch a lot of TV so that rarely turns off when I'm around. April was 14.9/day which was fantastic. The first 500KWh was about $0.11/KWh and the rest was a little over $0.12/KWh.

We could start a fund for you. No a/c? Dang. Hope it's cool where you are.
Me? No I said I have A/C. Never had central A/C before so it's pretty cool. Though really living in NY, it's not necessary. Not that I'd ask them to remove it though. :)

Unknown at this point; electricity is one of the utilities included in my current rent. In my previous place (in Chicago), anywhere between 85-110kWh/month, closer to the high end in the summer b/c of fans running, so about $18-$25/month.

How the hell can you use so little power? That's amazing.

Man we do have cheap electric here (even though my bill hits up to $300 in summer and winter)....

.085 for the first 1000
.095 for the overage.

Last month was about 1500 kWh. Bill was $140.

Still higher than I'd like because about 200 kWh is for my two ESXi servers, file server, and switch even though I'm using energy efficient parts.
