Like 30 minutes.

I did practically no homwework in college or law school. I was a History major in undergrad, and I selected my classes very carefully to avoid unnecessary home work.

Law school was tougher, but I attacked it with the same strategy. :)

um, 4 hours a night usually, maybe 6-12 hours on sundays. (edit, the problem sets in my three major classes are due one on monday and two on tuesday, i try to finish them all on sunday, but I usually can't)

I'm a freshman MechE major at Rice University. I'm in a bunch of sophomore classes, which may have something to do with it. I'm still having a great time. 0 hours on friday and saturday, usually. It also helps to do work with friends so you can still enjoy yourself while working.

you need to learn how to skim....I could do two hours of reading in 20min usually. granted I have a photographic memory, and don't usually even need to take notes in class. usually do though but never use them

I miss HS I never did an once of homework all for years....I know what your thinking your thinking I took slack classes but I didn't. I made it to Pre Calc my Junior Year took senior off from math, honors science all 4 years. then all my other required classes. I learned the fine art of copying homework off the guy next to me :D and I still got A's on tests. the only work I did at home was the ocational paper for english or Goverment, and those were usually the night before type of thing.

Around 2-4 hours of homework outside of class, per class. I have 5 EE classes this semester. Then there is usually some work outside of work too, maybe an hour or so a week. All in all, too much.

Honestly I did not spend that much time. I generally partied a lot and then crammed everything last minute...just enough to get an A- (Comp E) since my university did not distinguish between A+ and A- it benefited me.

If I went back to grad school, I think I would take it a lot more seriously as I feel I would only go back for something I am sure I am wanting to learn...as opposed to college which I only wanted to learn about 10% of what they actually fed me.

I tend to put it off all week then spend about 4-6 hours the day before it is due. So on average, an hour or so a night. I am a senior aerospace engineering major if that helps.
