Why do you need/have so many systems? Using them all?
I have systems that are usually dedicated to some task or another. For instance, I have a laptop in my car(so I can play mp3s and run ms streets and trips on vacations) and soon as I figure how to flip the display upside down, it's getting mounted in the roof.
I have 3 laptops I carry out to housecalls to troubleshoot issues. One runs win3.x and dos, another runs unix, another runs win9x.
I have a fileserver that is on all the time and doubles as an alarm clock.
I have lots of other systems that are used for one thing or another, including workstations, computers for parents to use.
Wanna know something really sick? I was tempted to wire a small pc104 computer to the coffee maker so I could check if it was on or not. I figured it was cheaper just to buy another coffee maker tho and keep in my room all the time.
