How many cavaties have you had?

1. I have lots of sealant in my molars though because I grind my teeth in my sleep :frown:

I am lucky got the good teeth syndrome from my dad, even the 2 that I did get were many many years ago and are very small.

I'm 25. I'd guess around 10. I started life in England and my parents were English. All english kids like sweets and junk food, so needless to say I got my share. Also was never big on brushing my teeth.

A lot. I didn't inherit the good tooth gene. 😀

Weak enamel runs in our family. My teeth look great, I just need to take extra good care of them.

One thing I didnt do was wear my retainer after getting my braces off, which made a few of my bottom teeth move back. Nothing like waisting 2 grand worth of money. 😛

I wish I could replace my teeth with some solid non corrosive alloy that could be fused to the bone. Think about it, no pain, no toothloss, chew through anything, easier to care for, no trips to the dentist....that would be cherry.

Yeah no joke. My teeth are in bad shape. I think some of it is bad genes, but the rest of it is just me being lazy. I don't think the orthodontics helped much.

a butt load

i used to have 1-2 on every dentist visit when i was a kid

eventually, i think there was no more non-filling places to get them

my teeth are in crappy shape, march 10 i get to go have two extracted as the start of putting in a bridge across my upper front, its going to be a long/painful process i am sure

I've been lucky enough to see the evolution of fillings in fact. As a kid they were all metal and I got two 6 months ago (hadn't been in a few years) and the dentist used the nice tooth colored stuff. One earlier filling had kind of fell apart so he spent about 5 hours drilling the crap out of that tooth and re-filling with this white stuff. Said tooth has never looked so good!

Amalgams, yeah my old ones are that stuff. All resin these days. And as stated above, yeah I can't wait until you can just have a new tooth grown in a lab. 🙂

Yeah I'm still metal mouth too!

Once we get some spare cash I'd like to get some basic reshaping done to all my top teeth and professional whitening. I'm on the tailend of trying the colgate whitening gel now and will post my results once I have them.
