How long does it take you? How much rest do you take between sets? What is your bodyweight, height, and age?

I bet it's not really that much. On the high end, I'd say around 500 calories (being very generous), but I could be totally wrong.

Around 400/hour IMO.

I would think someone who hates fatties as much as you do would already know this.

It's going to vary enormously from person to person, even workout to workout, and you'll never know exactly. Your best bet is to estimate and then monitor the thing you can measure exactly: your weight. If it changes at the rate and in the direction you expect, then your estimates are probably accurate. If not, you'll need to tweak them.

For reference, when I was doing a cut a couple years ago, my estimates for my Bill Starr 5x5 workouts (very similar to SS) ended up around 300 calories per hour.

elementary eh? that's why you haven't the slightest clue yourself. nice try troll.

Who's trolling? I gave you an answer to a question that most people serious about fitness would know, or at least know what resources to consult.

I just find it more than a little ironic that a prolific hater of fatties like yourself would post something like this.

It's not a lot compared to aerobic activities/cardio. At moderate intensity, you'd burn about 500-700 calories/hr with cardio assuming you don't stop to rest. If I could do the same with lifting while able to rest in between sets, then I would be lifting 2 hours/day 3 times a week instead. My best guesstimate would be 2-300 calories/hr. IMO, it's not about the calories burned during lifting... the calories burned at rest as a result of maintenance[or growth] of muscle mass far surpass the amount you burn in an hour at the gym.

It'll vary massively depending on the type of exercise, rest between sets, and a ton of other variables. However, studies that have looked at it found 7-9 cal/minute to be about right, but that's only the time where work is actually being done, not time spent resting between sets and again, this will have huge variability from person to person. I wouldn't count on burning anymore than 300-400 calories per session.
