I can do 4 Bar Dips in one night if I'm pretty well drunk. Usually 1 is the norm, but sometimes I make exeptions!:)

PARALLEL BAR DIPS
Parallel Bar Dips are a great way to build mass in the chest as well as the triceps. The exercise is performed on a special machine that has two bars that support your weight as you lower yourself up and down. To do the exercise, step on a stool and grip the handles of the machine. Cross your legs and bend them slightly at the knee. Now support your weight on your hands and slowly lower yourself to the lowest you can go, then raise yourself and repeat.

Err yeah, 2 sets of 10reps heh.

Push ups and pull/chin ups are good too. I like doing workouts without weights, you don't have to worry about pulling anything or injuring yourself.

You can injure yourself with or without weights.

Obviously, but you'd have to be pretty stupid to be able to injure yourself doing pushups. Using free weights or weight machines, it's not that hard to overdo it. This isn't even getting into the possible long term effects on your joints having all that added weight stressing them.

I used to do sets of 10 with about 135 pounds extra weight hanging from my weightbelt. I got injured that way. If it sounds like a lot of weight I'm here to tell you that it isnt that hard actually. You just have to keep at it.
Anyway, the injury I got involves my sternum. It sometimes gets compressed and I have to pop it back into place otherwise its painfull to be in some positions.
I don't encourage my friends to do weighted dips anymore. In face I dont do that all all anymore because it seems to aggravate thr injury.
I do agree though, they are an awesome mass building exercise.

At 6'5" height and 280lbs weight I can only do about 12 now.

But when I was 230lbs and stronger I was doing around 3 sets of 20. Probably could have done over 25 for one set, not sure though.

I just love my beer and cashews.:D:|
