I hadn't noticed. Do fashion trends ever last? They used to change pretty regular.
So you're going on record that the Apple Watch is doomed?

lol, nope not my area of expertise. But I do think the fashion industry is more fickle than even the tech industry and they are playing with fire if they plan on that really being a significant portion of sales in the long term.
The "killer feature" of the Apple Watch will be apps, thousands of them, everyone will have a "custom" watch, and they're going to love customizing their watches with bands, apps, etc...
Apps on a watch?
You kids and your crazy ideas!
Guess you really are missing those tiny iPhone screens.

But really? What sort of apps are you going to run on that screen? (honest question)

I am going to bookmark this post for future reference because I have a feeling there are a massive number of ways to use a second smaller screen on your wrist. You are going to eat so much crow...
A version of the Nike+ running app would be bad ass. I have the Nike+ GPS Watch for running and love it to death. If I could get that same functionality on a watch where I could also have my music and Bluetooth, I'll buy 2 of them. I don't find it particularly nice looking, though I do think it's worlds better looking than the competition. The iOS Health stuff is pretty good, and will get better. As a fitness device this watch could really shine.
What's the point of an app to play music via Bluetooth on your watch when you also need to have your phone on you?
You know that you could just state your position instead of just insulting people.LOL, I love these forums.
There's going to be some great quotes to use in future threads, this one in particular is pretty good
Seriously, why are you participating and offering opinions in a thread where you know what appears to be nothing about this device?

For instance you could have just said 'Ah! But the iWatch is a great deal for a 2gb mp3 player'.
LOL, I love these forums.

I wouldn't entirely agree with that. They should be primary means for tasks that are simple and make sense from your wrist. Android Wear, for everything it does right, makes you pull out your phone far too often for tasks that could be over in a quick second.
Ultimately, the goal of a smartwatch is to make your life easier. That doesn't mean browsing the web from your watch or checking your Facebook feed, but there are times when starting a task from your watch would be faster and easier.
Sorry. Am I spoiling your advertising spiel?iWatch? Who makes the iWatch?
I guess the problem is that I don't really see any tasks that are easier or make sense to do from your wrists, save dismissing notifications and answering/rejecting calls, or taking your heart rate.
Sorry. Am I spoiling your advertising spiel?
You're posting in a thread and you don't even know the name of the device?
