How long is your drive into work? Mine is between 30-40 mins - 2 lane expressway, very congested.

With good traffic, based on a 5-day work week, I spend ~240 hours driving to / from work annually. :Q

It takes me about 9-minutes to walk out of my door, open the garage, get in my car, go to work, park and walk inside. I live about 5 miles from the office.

Depending on whether I stop in the kitchen along the way, somewhere in the 50-100 foot range.

Mine is a bit strange, while I live within 5 mins from work, my commute is generally between 45 mins and 1hr 45 mins depending on the day... really sucks when you are the only driver in the family....

I cycle at stupid speeds weaving in and out of traffic, no helmet with sound isolating earbuds in (e2c's). I regularly p!ss off drivers but the way I see it I have to breathe their fumes, so they can deal with a cyclist overtaking them and whupping them on their way to work.

Plus it gives me a great rush before the monotomy of a day in the office begins.

Takes 4 -> 6 minutes to do about 1.5 miles, traffic and weather depending.

I walk approximately quarter-mile to half-mile to college classes daily from Tuesdays to Fridays. :)

Seeing as my car is my office, the distance it takes me to walk from the front door to my car. Now as far as getting to customer sites it's anywhere from 5 to 250 miles driving. :/

I say 6-15 because of how long it takes to park at my university, even though it is a 3-4 minute drive.

well over 50km to get to school..and teh trains run at select time..so if you miss it, be prepared to wait another hour for the next train.

25 minutes walk, or some 10 minutes by car (lots of heavy city traffic). Or 15 minutes with the bycicle, my favorite mean of transportation :D
